Turkish Obsessions

Our last trip was also our Honeymoon, we spent five glorious weeks in Spain, and three too short days in Amsterdam.
It wasn't till we got back and I evaluated all the goodies we brought back that I realised most of my most treasured items as well as our gifts were actually from Turkey.

I spent many happy hours at the street markets in Amsterdam buying up all sorts of exotic treasures. Turkish and Afghan hand crafted jewellery, scarves and teas. I sadly dropped and consequently broke two of my favourite pieces our first night in Barcelona but they continue to be some of my most worn and admired accessories even so. One of my most memorable experience of the trip were the Hammam Baths in Jerez. Time seems to stop as soon as you walk through the huge doors, and i was happy to loos a day there, we brought back in-scents and good luck charms for our friends, I went a little crazy and still regretted not getting more
